Engineering is responsible for maintaining codeRIT's tools and websites. Engineering consists of the Development team and Network Operations team. The Development team is responsible for the development of the systems powering brickhack.io and codeRIT.org as well as managing the tools used for all of codeRIT. 

This team should meet weekly as maintaining brickhack.io in preparation for the event is a large task.

Development

The Development team is responsible for maintaining brickhack.io and codeRIT.org. This team is also responsible for keeping codeRIT's tools up-to-date.

Tools

Engineering manages a number of tools that keeps codeRIT functioning. These tools should be reviewed every year for effectiveness, usually after BrickHack. 

Network Operations

From BrickHack to BrickHack 4, all network engineering was completed in-house. The Network Operations team was responsible for the design and construction of BrickHack's network infrastructure. The Network Operations team worked closely with its (RIT authentication required to access link) to ensure a sustainable network for 500 attendees can be achieved at BrickHack
