codeRIT is a multidisciplinary community that promotes diversity, inclusion, and growth. Our passionate members teach the community valuable skills all the time! This content is accessible during our weekly meetings and often made available to our community online.

What is a Hacker?

A hacker is someone who learns by doing. Hackers have an insatiable passion for learning and creating. Hackers contribute to various aspects of society every day. Anybody can be a hacker, and codeRIT is full of people like this.

Elections

codeRIT elections are reliant on community participation.

The four e-board positions, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer are to be elected, after a brief campaigning period, collectively by the community members. This should be a public and democratic process.

Continuity

For continuity's sake, In the case of an unexpected departure or a lack of candidates, a current e-board member may fill a high priority vacancy when needed. In this case the e-board should elect a community member to the newly vacated position.
