Fatmir Sejdiu ~ (born 23 October 1951) is an Albanian politician from The Republic of Kosovo. 

Also, he was the second president of Kosovo and the governor of LDK (Lidhje Demokratike të Kosovës). He was born in Podujevë, where he completed his primary studies. Moreover, he graduated in The Faculty of Law in UP (Universiteti i Prishtinës) on 1974. He has been working as a professor in UP for many years. Fatmir speaks fluently four different languages: Albanian, French, English and Serbian. Sejdiu was an early protester against Yugoslav authoritarian rule. He has always been widely admired for being honest and fair in all his political dealings. Before the Republic of Kosovo was created, on 2007, there were elections in which PDK-LDK coalition formed. In those elections Fatmir Sejdiu became the president of Kosovo. This coalition was meant to continue but fell apart because it is not considered legal for a politician, in this case Fatmir Sejdiu, to hold both titles as President of a state and head of party- LDK. In that case Sejdiu choose to hold the title as  Head of Democratic League of Kosovo instead of being president because of his personal views. He was elected deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in 1992 and 1998. Likewise, in 1998 he was elected Secretary General of the Assembly and President of the Committee for Constitutional Issues. In 2001, at the first democratic elections since the war, he was elected deputy in the Assembly of Kosovo and member of the Assembly Presidency, in which textures he was re-elected again in 2004. On February 10, 2006, Fatmir Sejdiu was elected President of the Republic of Kosovo with two-thirds of the votes of the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo. He has led the Unity Team, in the negotiations before determining the final status of the Republic of Kosovo. He has held lectures in important scientific institutions in the world, as in Arizona State University, Oxford Union, LSE London, Leuven, Tirana, World Affairs Council - San Francisco, Harvard University and other institutions. On June 2006, the State University of Tirana awarded Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu the title of Doctor Honoris Causa. On November 3, 2008, President Sejdiu was honored by the President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Bamir Topi, with the Order “Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg”. On November 5, 2008, President Sejdiu has received the Award "Honorary Citizen of Shkodra. On February 23, 2009, President Sejdiu, at Arizona State University, was awarded the “Distinguished Global Leadership” award. Likewise, in April 2011, he was honored with the title Doctor Honoris Causa from the State University of Sakaryas in Turkey. He communicates in Albanian, French, English, Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian, and Macedonian. He is married and has three children. He lives in Prishtina. On September 27, 2010, he resigned as President of the Republic of Kosovo. 

Jakup Krasniqi ~ was born on January 1^st 1951. He is a Kosovar political, who was former President of Kosovo throughout 2010 – 2011, also a former chairman of the assembly of Kosovo. He was born in a village near Glogovac. He finished elementary school in his hometown, Negroc, in 1965, however he finished his high school in Prishtina in 1971. He pursued the Faculty of Philology of the University of Prishtina and graduated in 1976.

During the Kosovo – Serbia war he was the spokesman of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK).

He finished his studies in Prishtina at the Faculty of Philosophy in History. He then devotes himself to working as a lecturer and, alongside he begins political activity illegally. From 1981 to 1991 he was imprisoned for political reasons by the Serbian occupier. He was an active member of the LDK in Drenas and later a member of the LDK leadership. He is actively involved in the construction of KLA structures and its spokesman in wartime. Member of the Albanian delegation in Rambouillet, France. Minister in the first government of Kosovo. After the first elections in Kosovo liberated minister for public services. In the free elections after the 1992-1998 invasion he was a deputy in the Kosovo parliament. At the session of the new Kosovo Parliament on January 9, 2008, following the November 17, 2007 vote, Jakup Krasniqi is elected President of the Kosovo Parliament. In 2014 together with Fatmir Limaj they formed the party called Initiative for Kosovo. He is now Chairman of the National Council of this party.

Atifete Jahjaga~ (born 20 April 1975) Atifete Jahjaga studied Law at The University of Prishtina and went on to complete postgraduate studies in the field of criminal law. Mrs. Jahjaga was Deputy General Director of the Police of Kosovo from February 2009 until her election as President of the Republic of Kosovo, on April 7, 2011. Since the establishment of the Kosovo Police in early 2000, initially she served as a policeman, progressing at a regional level and that of the General Headquarters.  She enjoyed a high reputation as a police commander of integrity, and on 6 April 2011, she was announced as the consensual candidate for President of Kosovo by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the New Kosovo Alliance.  She was elected President of the Republic of Kosovo on the following day. In addition to the Albanian language (native), President Atifete Jahjaga also masters English and Serbian. President Atifete Jahjaga is married to Mr. Astrid Kuçi and lives in Prishtina.

POLICE CAREER

Atifete Jahjaga completed the Police Academy of Kosovo and she became officer then she was promoted to higher ranks such as a major, colonel, and finally major general. She eventually became the Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police. All these contributed to building the most trusted law enforcement institution in Kosovo.

CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENCY

Kosovo went through a political crises when President Fatmir Sejdiu resigned and the inability of Behxhet Pacolli to candidate, Atifete Jahjaga announced her candidacy for the President of Kosovo, supported by DPK, DLG and NKA as well as from the ambassador of US, Christopher Dell. She was elected President on 7 April on the first round, making her the first President to be elected at the first round. Atifete Jahjaga stated in her inaugural speech that her main purpose and goal for Kosovo was to put her nation and her state on the direction of the EU and the UN.  

Hashim Thaçi ~ is the President of the Republic of Kosovo elected on 26 of February 2016 in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. He assumed the duty of the President on 7 April 2016, by giving his solemn oath before the Assembly of Kosovo. Before becoming the President, Thaçi was for a year as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2015), and served two terms as Prime Minister of Kosovo (2007-2014). Hashim Thaçi was the first President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and was continuously re-elected as the President of the Party until his resignation on 26th of February 2016, before being elected the President of Kosovo. Hashim Thaçi has declared Kosovo an independent state on 17 February 2008, and he also led the Kosovo team in the Rambouillet negotiations in February 1999 and he was the Political Chief of the Kosovo Liberation Army during the war in 1997-1999. Thaçi was the most voted political leader in the elections of 8 June 2014. As the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi led the political dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, which on 19 April 2013 resulted with the signing of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia.                                                                                                                                                                         

Hashim Thaçi’s political career began with his engagement in the People’s Movement of the Republic of Kosovo (LPK), a political movement that aimed emancipation of the position of Albanians in the Former Yugoslavia. As a student in the University of Prishtina, Thaçi became the leader of the Student’s Movement in the period between 1990 and 1993, namely the years when the Belgrade regime closed all University institutions in the Albanian language, whereas the University of Prishtina commenced its activities outside the institutional system. In 1991, Thaçi was elected as the Student Deputy Rector of the University of Prishtina, where he contributed in structuring and developing of the parallel university education process. Hashim Thaçi is one of the founders of the political-military organization, the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). There he was also known with the nickname "Snake". Since 1997, Hashim Thaçi was the Chief of the Political Directorate of Kosovo Liberation Army. Moreover, he chaired the Kosovo delegation in the International Conference held in Rambouillet, France, from 6 until 22 February 1999. After the war, Hashim Thaçi was the Prime Minister of the Provisional Government of Kosovo in the period 1999 – 2000.

Bajram Rexhepi ~ was born on 3 June 1954 in Mitrovica. He was a student in the University of Prishtina from where he gratuated. Bajram Rexhepi worked as a surgeon in Mitrovica. In 1999 he participated in the Kosovo War as a part of KLA and his job was as a doctor. "Rexhepi spent most of his career working as a surgeon and achieved fame as the best surgeon for circumcisions in the Mitrovica region. During the 1999 Kosovo War, Rexhepi joined the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and spent three months serving as a field doctor" (PeoplePill). During the elections in November 2001, Bajram Rexhepi was appointed as prime minister. "In the general elections of November 2001 in Kosovo, Rexhepi's party won 25.7 percent of the votes, second only to Ibrahim Rugova's Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), and Rexhepi was appointed prime minister by the Assembly of Kosovo on 4 March 2002. In the following general elections, held on 24 October 2004, the Democratic Party of Kosovo came second and won 30 seats in the parliament" (PeoplePill). Bajram Rexhepi died in Turkey on 21 August 2017. 

Ramush Haradinaj ~  is one of the top commanders of the former Kosovo Liberation Army. In December 2004 he was elected prime minister in the AAK party coalition he lead, with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) then headed by former President Ibrahim Rugova. Haradinaj remained in this post for only a hundred days as he was forced to face charges of committing war crimes at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, which twice acquitted him of all charges. After the Kosovo war, he left for a time as deputy commander of the Kosovo Protection Corps, and in April 2000, he founded his party the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. The incumbent prime minister took office on Thursday, shortly after Kosovo's parliament voted 62 in favor and 52 against with Kadri Veseli as chairman.

 14th of March 2005, Haradinaj did not plead guilty. 7th of June 2005, in the mean time, he was given temporry release until the starting of the trial. Immediately after pleaded not guilty, the next day he quit his position as a prime minister, and he voluntarily went to the Hague Tribunal  to be remained in custody until he was granted release pending trial.  Continuing in 26th February 2007, Haradinaj was forced to return to The Hague in order to continue the trial.  On July 20, 2007 Ramush Haradinaj's request for provisional release during summer court vacations wasn't approved. Father was given a second temporary release at Christmas. On April 3, 2008 th trial made it's decision which was: not guilty. Balaj and Lahi Brahimaj, which were the defendants of Haradinj, did not receive a single witness to the stand defense, finding this unnecessary. Haradinaj's second trial was on August 18, 2011, where he was pleaded not guilty for the second time because there was no evidence of his crimes, in contrary to that, there were evidences that he tried stopping criminal acts. According to a journal known as Trial International " in June 2015 Haradinaj was arrested by Slovenian police but was released after two days following diplomatic pressure. On 5 January 2017 Haradinaj was arrested on a Serbian international arrest warrant by French border police upon his arrival at Basel-Mulhouse airport. He was released on 12 January pending decision on his extradition to Serbia and has been placed under judicial supervision while his case is being reviewed" ( Trial International, 2019)

Haradinaj was the savior commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who was famous for his strategies, skills, crafts in the battlefield. He had established his fame in the Dukagjini district as dangerous demanding army fighter before and after Serbian nationals. Following the NATO intervention in Kosovo and Serbia it was Kosovo's liberation from the war but that most of the soldiers did not have good luck after the war. 

Bajram Kosumi ~ is a professor at the University of Prishtina. He was born in Kamenica. His life was mostly spent standing up for his country and for the citizens’ rights. That’s why he was twice imprisoned by the Serbs. He was a reporter and a writer and used that way to express his feelings and his support for the Kosovars.  During year 2005-2006 he was chosen as the Prime Minister of Kosovo. But because it was not a democratic vote, and the people (citizens) did not want him as a Prime Minister, he was forced to resign.

 Agim Çeku ~ is a former prime minister of Kosovo from March 2006 to January 2008.

General Agim Ceku was born on October 29, 1960 in Qyshk, Peja. After finishing elementary school in his hometown, he enrolled in the military high school in Belgrade, where he graduated in 1975. And in 1984 he graduated with excellent success from the Military Academy, namely the Croatian Artillery Academy. During 1984 1991, Ceku served in the former Yugoslav Army at the Zara Artillery School, as a lieutenant commander at the School for Reserve Officers and at the Military Academy. After the outbreak of war in the former Yugoslav republics, in Slovenia and Croatia, on October 27, 1991, Agim Ceku left the Yugoslav Army and joined the Croatian Army. In February 1993, Agim Ceku was transferred to the 9th Gardist Brigade in Gospic where he was appointed artillery chief in the 9th Gardiste Brigade, then Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the 9th Gardiste Brigade. In September 1993, he was wounded during an operation known as the Megajacki Pocket, and in 1994, he assumed the rank of colonel in the Croatian Army. A year later Ceku was decorated with the rank of brigadier, while in 1996 he was appointed Chief of Staff of the 5th Corps of the Croatian Army. Ceku has also taken part in all the actions and fighting in the Zadar and Lika areas as well as in many important operations for the liberation of Croatia. For his contribution to the liberation of Croatia, as a superior to the Croatian army, Ceku was decorated with the rank of brigadier general. In Kosovo, General Ceku returns from the Croatian Army on February 27, 1999. A week after the bombing of Serbian forces began on April 2, 1999, Brigadier General Agim Ceku is appointed Chief of the KLA General Staff, a post by the KLA. who leads the KLA in during the NATO bombing campaign. With the end of the war in Kosovo, Ceku begins another battle, the transformation of the KLA into the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC). He was officially appointed commander of the KPC on September 21, 1999, staying in charge of them until today. Agim Ceku is married and has three children: two sons and one daughter.

 Agim Ceku was voted as Prime Minister of Kosovo, on 10th of March 2006, by the Kosovo Assembly. After being pushed in his political position, he promised support for Kosovo's independence by giving and protecting rights for the Serbian minorities. After Ramush Haradinaj's involvement as a prime minister, Ceku's appointment was canceled on 2005 after being indicted and pointed out for war crimes by ICTY. Agim Ceku was accused by the Serbian government for committing war crimes. Even though Ceku has never been the topic or subject of any ICTY allegation, he was apprehended in Slovenia and Hungary behalf of a warrant by Serbians.

Thanks to the pressure made by UNMIK, Ceku was quickly released. Later on, Ceku was evacuated from a conference held in May 2009, Serbia. This happened due to many accusations towards Ceku, regarding crimes done to Serbians during the Kosovo war. Leading to his arrest on 23th of June, 2009, he was once again arrested in Bulgaria under a warrant for committing crimes during war towards the non- Albanian population. After many consultations he was released in custody by the Bulgarians with conditions of staying within the country for 40 days.

He was criticized many times of being married to a Serbian - Croatian wife. 

Isa Mustafa ~ (born 15 May 1951)   is a Kosovar legislator who is the pioneer of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). Mustafa was Mayor of Pristina from December 2007 to December 2013 and crammed in as Prime Minister of Kosovo between December 2014 and September 2017. Mustafa used to be conceived in the city of Prapashtica, in the Gollak Highlands of the District of Pristina, Kosovo on 15 May 1951, to Kosovo Albanian guardians. He executed Primary and High School in Pristina, and went to the University of Pristina in the Faculty of Economics, the place he acquired a graduate degree and a PhD. In 1974, he commenced his expert work, as an analyst at the University of Pristina.

Political career

Isa Mustafa began his political career in the early 1980s, when he grew to be the head of the municipal government of Pristina, from 1984 to 1988. In the 1990s, as Yugoslavia began to damage up, Mustafa grew to be the Minister of Economy and Finances of the authorities of the Republic of Kosova, in exile, headed through Bujar Bukoshi. During this time, an arrest warrant for Mustafa used to be issued within Yugoslavia – which did now not grow to be international, making it feasible for him to work in Western Europe. Mustafa did not observe for any political asylum, and was once capable to return to Kosovo each time if needed.

After the Kosovo War ended on 1999, he again home, but back to politics only in 2006 as a High Political Advisor of the then President of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu.

In December 2007, he became the mayor of Pristina in neighborhood elections, beating the vice president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and one of the ex-commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), Fatmir Limaj. He received a 2nd time period as Mayor of Pristina in November 2009.
On 7 November 2010, he grew to be the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, beating Fatmir Sejdiu in the celebration leadership election by means of 235 votes to 124.

On 1 December 2013, he lost re-election to the position of Mayor of Pristina, in what was seen as a major upset, to upcoming politician Shpend Ahmeti. The upset was especially dramatic seeing as it happened in what had been historically known as a Democratic League of Kosovo stronghold.

On 8 December 2014, he became the Prime Minister of Kosovo in a coalition with the Democratic Party of Kosovo. With a PhD in Economics, he claimed his government would be focused on the economic development of the country.

Behgjet Pacolli ~ (born 30 August 1951)is a Kosovo lawmaker who is filling in as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Pacolli is a previous President of the Republic of Kosovo, and recently filled in as the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo somewhere in the range of 2011 and 2014. Pacolli was one of the signatories of 2008 Kosovo assertion of freedom.

He is the significant investor of Mabetex Group, a Swiss-based development and structural designing organization. Pacolli is likewise the President of the third greatest ideological group in Kosovo the New Kosovo Alliance. He is accepted to be the world's most extravagant ethnic Albanian.

Albin Kurti is the recently elected Prime Minister of Kosovo. He was born on March 24, 1975 in Pristine. Albin joined the leader of the Independent Students' Union of the University of Pristina in August 1997, which staged peaceful, non-violent protests to vacate the university buildings and facilities, which were occupied by the authorities of the Serbian Regime. When the war in Kosovo began in August 1998, Kurti began working as the Secretary of the Office of the General Political Representative of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Adem Demaci.

When NATO bombs began in Serbia and Kosovo in March 1999, Kurti deployed to Pristina, and was arrested by Serbian police on April 27, 1999. When Serbian forces withdrew from Kosovo on June 10, Kurti and a few other individuals were transferred to Serbian prisons within two days. For more on country pressure, Kurti was released on December 7, 2001.

On April 23, 2003, Albin Kurti graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Prishtina, majoring in Computer Telecommunication.In June 2005, Albin Kurti and politician activists co-founded a civic initiative, called Vetevendosje! He was the president of VETËVENDOSJE! until March 2015, where he competed again in January 2019 and won. 

Albin Kurti has been a deputy in the Kosovo's Assembly for three terms in a row. In the last parliamentary election, Albin Kurti was the candidate for with the largest number of voters in the country.

Albin Kurti has published recent articles, and was invited to present in front of most well-known universities at home and abroad. He has also served as the President of the Foreign Affairs Commission in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in 2011-2014. He is fluent in Albanian, English and Serbo-Croatian. Kurti is married and has one child.

During 2010, Lëvizja Vëtevendosje, attached to its policy of local opposition, also started being part of elections as well as Kosova’s foundations. During the polls in the year 2010, they were voted as the third most wanted party. That is why he participated and became a member of the parliament, as well as a member of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee. Levizja Vetevendosje is a party with various strategies that mainly include freedom to independence, fighting corruption, controlling the earnings; which will help the country have and gain a democratic function as a state.

In the 2019 elections, which were a kind of war for Kosovo's next prime minister, the Self-Determination Movement (LVV) won the election, where Albin Kurti won his mandate for Kosovo's prime minister, leaving the LDK and PDK behind. ("Albin Kurti Part of Human and Minority Rights")

Mimoza Kusari-Lila ~ was born on October 16, 1975 in Gjakova. Kusari-Lila finished her studies at the University of Hasan Prishtina, Faculty of Economics.

Mimoza Kusari-Lila completed her postgraduate studies in the US in Business Administration from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining politics, she led the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo from 2006 - 2009. She has also been an Assistant at the Faculty of Economics (UP) in the subject of Microeconomics, and a lecturer in Process Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology, formerly known as AUK. 

Deputy of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in the 6th Legislature. In 2010 she was the most voted woman in Kosovo.  She served for three years (2011-2013) as a Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Trade and Industry Ministry in the Government of Kosovo. Mimoza Kusari - Lila previously held the position of Mayor of Gjakova, won in December 2013, having become the first woman mayor of a municipality in Kosovo. She is married and has two children. 

Glauk Konjufca ~ was born on July 1981, in Prishtina. He finished his studies in Philosophy in the University of Prishtina. He engaged in the Vetevendosje movement from the start of it. He is passionate about philosophy and among many publishing articles in this area, he has released the book "Huti i Minerves Fluturon ne Muzg G.W.F. Hegel". In the year 2010 he was chosen as a deputy of the Vetevendosje movement, in the IV legislature of the assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. During the years 2011-2014 he was vice President of the Assembly of Kosovo. In 2014, he was chosen again as a deputy for the Assembly of the Kosovo.

On July 2014 he was chosen head of the Parliamentary Group of Vetevendosje. In the 5th (V) legislature he was vice President of the Commission for Economic, Infrastructural, Trade, and Industry Development in the Assembly of Kosovo. In the last legislature he was chosen head of the Parliamentary Group of Vetevendosje again, and he was part of the Commission for Economic Development and the Commission for International Relations. He is married and has a child.

Albulena Haxhiu ~ was born in Pristina on May 11, 1987, where she lives. She completed her studies at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Law. She has become a part of VETËVENDOSJE! in September 2010. Albulena Haxhiu has been a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo for three consecutive terms.

In the V and VI legislatures, she has chaired the Committee on Legislation as one of the most important committees of the Assembly.
She has been one of the most vocal members of the parliament in the Kosovo Assembly, with a particular emphasis on issues related to justice.

Albulena considers that VETËVENDOSJE! Is the only entity that brings hope, justice, development, welfare and equality and is therefore ready to make its contribution to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and to represent as much as possible the policies and priorities of VETËVENDOSJE! !. Albulena Haxhiu, has decided to run again as a member of the next legislature.

She is married and she is a mother of two children.

Vjosa Osmani ~ was born in 17 May 1982 in Mitrovica. She finished her middle and high school in the Mitrovica. "Osmani holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Prishtina, and Masters and Doctorate degrees from Pitt Law. She currently teaches at the University of Prishtina, at the American College of Kosovo, and at Pitt Law, as a Visiting Professor. Her research focuses on the rule of law, foreign policy, human rights, and social and equality issues" (Pitt Law Alumna Vjosa Osmani Wins Sheth International Young Alumni Achievement Award | PittLaw). Vjosa Osmani is highly skilled and now in the latest elections she candidate for prime minister.

 Vjosa Osmani is a respected woman among Kosovo politicians. "Osmani achieved success at a young age and while working in the traditionally men’s world of politics in the Republic of Kosovo. She has become a respected voice Kosovo’s politics and government as well as in international organizations. She has the distinction of receiving more votes than any other woman in the history of parliamentary elections in Kosovo and she was the second-most voted for official in her party, the Democratic League of Kosovo" (Pitt Law Alumna Vjosa Osmani Wins Sheth International Young Alumni Achievement Award | PittLaw). Vjosa in the latest elections was ranked the second most voted candidate after Albin Kurti.

Sabri Hamiti ~ was born on May 10, 1950 on Dumnica in the municipality of Podujeva. He finished his middle school in Dumnica.

Sabri Hamiti " from 1968 to 1972, studied Albanian language and literature at the University of Prishtina. He did postgraduate research in comparative literature in Zagreb from 1973 to 1975, and began working for the Rilindja publishing company in Prishtina in 1978. Hamiti finished his doctorate at the University of Prishtina in 1987 with a dissertation on modern Albanian literature" (Historical Dictionary of Kosova - Robert Elsie - Google Books). Sabri Hamitis major studies were language and literature. He doctorate at the University of Prishtina where he worked as a professor and later on joined LDK. 

Sabri Hamiti was an assassination target " On 24 September 1998, he was severely wounded in an assassination attempt at his home in Dardania"  (Historical Dictionary of Kosova - Robert Elsie - Google Books). Eventhough, he was wounded he luckily survived the assassination attempt.

Sabri Hamiti plays an important role in his current party LDK. "In 2000, Sabri Hamiti was elected as a member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosova and is also now a leading figure of the LDK parliamentary group in the parliament of Kosova"  (Historical Dictionary of Kosova - Robert Elsie - Google Books). 

Uran Ismaili ~ was born on 19.10.1979 in Prishtina, he finished primary school also he finished elementary school in Prishtina . Ismail Qemali and the Secondary School in Xhevdet Doda. He lives in Pristina, is married to Arizona Brdynaj, and he have 2 childrens.

He attended undergraduate studies at Graceland University in the United States of America for psychology, and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. Urani Ismaili since 2007 is directly joined  the Democratic Party of Kosovo . Until 2016 he was a member of the Presidency of the Pristina Branch, and has been involved in all local and national campaigns since 2007. He has been part of brainstorming ideas for PDK campaigns, both in the area of digital campaigns, as well as in field organization. Uran Ismaili has been a close associate of Kadri Veseli working since 2013 as his chief of staff, while earlier during the first and second term of PDK's government , he was chief of staff and advisor to the Ministry of Interior. Agriculture and Transport. In addition to development policies, he has been distinguished as the initiator of various programs with USAID as well as representing the Government in negotiations with the World Bank for development credit.

Fatmir Limaj was born on February 4, 1971 in Kosovo, is an Albanian politician, lawyer and former fighter for the Kosovo Liberation Army. As well as former Minister of Transport and Communications during 2007 - 2010. Born on February 4, 1971, in the village of Banja (Malisheva). He is the second child of Kadri and Mejreme Limaj. She grew up in a family with average living conditions in the homeland. He completed his elementary school in his hometown, and the Agricultural High School, Faculty of Law, and Magistrate in Prishtina. 

    At the age of 16, he began dealing with the then illegal movements. He is one of the founders of the former KLA. In the actions of the Serbian police to arrest KLA activists, in 1996 his brother Demir Limaj was arrested while he himself was forced to leave the country . He returned to Kosovo in 1997 to be there when the KLA would go public. Named Commander of 121st Brigade "Kumanovo" and one of KLA's political and military leaders.

After the war ended, Fatmir Limaj was announced as PDK deputy leader, PDK parliamentary group leader and deputy leader. Minister of Defense in the Provisional Government. After the triumph in The Hague, he returned to political life as PDK deputy leader. In the 2010 elections, which PDK won, Fatmir Limaj emerged as the first man to be voted in Kosovo.Then Hashim Thaqi emerged Fatmir Limaj was elected Minister of Transport and Post-Telecommunication of Kosovo. During his 3-year term at the head of the Ministry of Transport, 1300 km of roads have been paved. He also signed the contract for the Nation Road: Morine - Prizren - Pristina - Merdare related to the completed part of the highway in Albania. In the early elections held on December 12th, Fatmir Limaj was the first person to vote in the PDK. She is currently a Member of the Assembly of Kosovo. Allegedly, "war crimes in Kosovo during the years of 1999" is accused of tarnishing the freedom fighters in the kitchens of Belgrade and Moscow. It is also being investigated for allegedly "corruption in the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications already the Ministry of Infrastructure during 2008-2011". But it must not be forgotten that during his time great deeds were done and are still going on today without mentioning the asphalting of 1300 km of roads throughout Kosovo.

He is the leader of the political party 'Social Democratic Initiative'.

 Enver Hoxhaj ~ born 1969 is from Suhareka. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Kosovo. In addition to that he was the Vice President of PDK- Democratic Party of Kosovo.  He is married and is the father of  two kids. He graduated in 1993 from the Faculty of History at the University of Prishtina. Afterwards, he continued his post-graduate studies at the University of Vienna, studying courses in history and politics. Later on having a long period of research between 1994 and 2000 at the Universities of Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Bologna, Rome, Florence and Paris, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis. Even before he was signes as Minister of Education, Science and Technology, and after that he was very interested in education and empowerment of youth. He was assigned Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2011. In discussion regarding Kosovo's condition after the war and independence, he was part of the Kosovo Delegation.
