QuestionsTEAM

Issues Raised

  • Can the students reach 12" or 18"?
    • We don't want to make a wheel chair table that is 18" if they can only reach 12".
  • Great cover idea for belts and motors
  • Battery life - 4 classes, each is 30 minutes. Need the device to last 2 hours at most.
  • Buttons for the user interface - smaller and closer together or larger and further apart

Decisions Made

  • Aide Input
    • The simpler the better
    • Need to add a start button and a raise/lower button
  • Buttons
    • Leaning toward the jelly bean smaller buttons!!
  • Wheel Chair Table
    • The students can reach 12" should, but reaching 18" could be hard
    • The closer the buttons can be, the more accurate the students can be
    • Baltic Birch
  • Accuracy is better than speed
    • If it was too fast, they might get frustrated
  • Can email or text Karen anytime
    • Get her availability for the new school
    • She starts the first week of September, so we might not be able to get in contact with her at the very beginning of MSD II
    • We should contact her more than once each phase
