To sign up for Amazon Whispercast, start by navigating to the URL provided.
Once you are brought to the welcome screen, click Continue.
Login with the Amazon Account you want to have all of your books from Saunders College of Business associated with. You may use your own personal Amazon Account if you have one already. If you do not have an account, select I am a new customer and sign up.
Once you are signed in, you need to accept the agreement to receive digital content from Rochester Institute of Technology by clicking on Accept Invitation.
Once accepted, please notify Saunders Technical Support (firstname.lastname@example.org) of the email address and name on the Amazon Account you used to sign up with. We will then add your account to the appropriate group for content distribution.
Removing Device Association
Associated devices are not required, nor recommend for the RIT subscription to Whispercast. Here's how to remove them. This change will be limited to your Whispercast subscription to RIT.
Start by going to the following website and sign in using your Amazon account username/password:
Once signed in, you should see the Rochester Institute of Technology subscription with a device associated to it. It should be set to No Device. If you need to change this, click the Actions button and then Change device.
Select No Device from the drop down menu and click Update at the bottom.
Your RIT Whispercast subscription will no longer be associated with any particular device. You will still be able to access all of your RIT materials on any of your devices.
For several of the textbooks for our EMBA classes, your Kindle account must be setup as United States for your Country/Region.
- Go to https://amazon.com/ and sign in with your account.
- Click on Your Content and Devices under the Accounts & Lists menu.
- Click on Preferences along the top.
- Expand the Country/Region Settings and set to United States.
