After I was done with high school I started to prepare for AUK entrance exams, and with success I passed them. In the end of august I started the first semester here in AUK. I came here in AUK because AUK is the best university in Kosovo and is the only one who can help me to realize my dream. My goals for the future are to be a good manger and to have my own business.

Design, advertising and marketing of Peja

In Kosovo there are many different companies that have designs, do marketing and advertise in creative ways. One of the most distinguished ones is Peja Beer.

Peja Beer launches the campaign; they launch it to promote new packaging of their product. They did this because this is the way to attract the consumer attention.

The unique character of the design is attributed to the most important symbols, those symbols are from our country where Peja Beer is produced ( Birra PEJA).

My role in group presentation

First of all we create a wiki page and everybody worked on it. Then we named our group and we started to do researches for the topic. It was my idea choosing the topic “The interaction of art/design and marketing/ (e.g. Packaging materials, branding, promotional materials)” and the other members of the group approve it. I started to look for sources from RIT library and I talked to other members on wiki page about those sources if they were helpful or not. On wiki page I posted 3 sources. My role was to do research for a big company here in Kosovo that have their designs, advertising and marketing. I picked “Peja Beer”, and I wrote about this company. In power point presentation I put some photos of “Peja Beer” with sources and some text in addition of design, advertising and marketing of “Peja Beer”. I also helped other group members writing their script, and do their part in power point presentation. In the end we present our presentation in front of the class and the presentation and were just like how we wanted to be.

I hope that this presentation will show our hard work that we did and the professor with audience will liked our presentation.

Sub topic: The connection between art and chemistry

Chemistry has always had a link to art. Naturally chemistry is involved with every part of our lives and everything around us. Especially in art a good knowledge of chemistry can allow for an artist to go far beyond physical appearance.

In art chemistry plays a huge role for example the differences in the properties of natural dyes and pigments in terms color, transparency and texture. Artist can use their knowledge to manipulate colors and other

properties of the materials that they use.
