I am Jehona Karavidaj. I was born on 12th of June, 1995 in Prizren. I passed my childhood there with my family consisted of my parents and two sisters, and now I live in Prishtina where I continue my studies.
I graduated from Mehmet Akif college in Prizren and spend the most beautiful time of my adulthood there, then with the decision to accomplish my goals I applied in American University on Kosovo, got accepted and study here as a freshman student. As a child, books were my preferred thing. I grow up reading from different fields. Dancing was my passion for years. I followed dancing courses for 5 years and then for the reasons of school I had to quit it. I participated in different competitions in Kosovo and others countries as well but the one that saves the best memories for me is the 9th Turkish Olympiads, where among 180 countries our country was selected the 3rd. It was a great honor. As for my personality I am a friendly person.
I like to help the others and this is one of the feelings that makes me feel happy, when I see someone smiling. I am a hard-working person and I pay much attention to things I like, and to my responsibilities. I believe that we are here for one purpose and it is in your hands if you will complete it or not. Life doesn’t smile to you always so you are the one who has to smile at it sometimes. My future is not visible yet, but day by day it’s showing its way. I hope to be successful in the fields I will choose to continue my studies and create a great career.

I will talk about the art in home. Art is what makes our lives full of beauty and brightness. It gives opportunities to us to express our feelings. When talking about art I do not mean just decorative objects but I am talking about things that we meet for our daily requirements. We are surrounded by different forms of art in our environment and home also. Home is the environment we spend most of the time in and each of us want it to be perfect, and have something attractive that can keep people's attention. We all have some part of art in our home. The first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about having art in homes is paintings, a printed or photographed wall, some types of portraits, pictures. But art is much more.
If you just start to look around you will see how much of art you have in your home. Because, art is not just about looking and admiring. Everything starting from the delightfully patterned curtains over the windows, the quilt on the bed, the colorful and well decorated tea towels, beautiful teapot with different shapes like them of hearts, the poised desk lamp, painted coffee mugs, cushions in the sofa, all of them are considered a form of art.

We have today visual communication everywhere from Web pages on electronic media, television screens to the environment such as road signs and other displays. western civilization is becoming more and more dependent on visual culture and visual communication is becoming a means of developing social and cultural identity. Seeing is the sum of sensing, selecting and perceiving. One quote says that “the more you see the more you know”. Visual communication helps to elaborate the message that the audience is supposed to get from and increases the chance to persuade them. Usually these metaphors use become more persuasive than the general claim. A research was done on three groups who had to expose three different advertisements for one product which in this case was toothpaste. The first one which was only verbal claimed that “Kingfisher toothpaste will make your teeth pearly white”; the second one was moderately verbal saying “flash’em” as a verbal claim and the last one was non-verbal and associated toothpaste with a pearl necklace. The research showed that the audience believed less the high level of verbal anchoring advertisements. This shows that the persuasive effects depend on the visual argumentations and creates characteristics that lead to audience’s active participation. Psychologist Albert Mehrabian suggests that 93% of communication is nonverbal. Human brain is able to decode image elements immediately, while language takes more time to be deciphered in a linear, sequential manner. This is why our minds act different to visual stimuli.
To begin with, the concept should be considered in order to communicate directly who or what it is and who is the target audience? The logo must include and represent all these elements. It is important the logo to be simple easy to be memorized, to reflect the message and that the audience recognizes it. The key elements on creating a logo are:
Should be original and unique, without a complex design so it can be read from long or close distances.
We have to look for what circumstances which color can be used for example color blind people cannot see certain colors together, or for example for organic food companies is better to use colors such as green or brown. The text should be kept within the logo and the other information such as contact and detail separate.
Look after you target audience, market research, likes and dislikes so that we can create a strong response.
Style of the logo and the theme are very important because they create background and the borders of the image. We have to be sure we use a specific style of guidelines which include fonts, size, shape etc. this will enhance the perception of a professional work.
