What is Qualtrics?
"Qualtrics is the world’s leading online survey and insight platform. Within the academic space, they work with more than 1,800 universities, colleges and other academic institutions. These institutions use Qualtrics for collecting data for academic research, experiments, assessments, research projects, polling, evaluations and market research, just to name a few.”
Who can use Qualtrics?
Qualtrics is available to all RIT faculty, staff, students and student employees.
Where do I access Qualtrics?
You can access Qualtrics from http://survey.rit.edu
You can begin using it right now for surveys!
How does this impact Clipboard?
Qualtrics is replacing Clipboard as RIT’s online survey tool.
Here is the plan for retiring Clipboard:
- Through the end of Spring Semester (2165) - Clipboard will be accessible to create and distribute surveys.
- May 28th, 2017 - Users will not be able to create new surveys or response sets.
- Users will be able to access existing Clipboard data until May 15, 2018.
- May 16th, 2018 - Clipboard will be retired and no longer accessible.
Can I migrate surveys to Qualtrics?
There is no migration path from Clipboard to Qualtrics. Any surveys would have to be manually recreated on Qualtrics.
