The Scheduling tab should only be utilized when an individual appointment is being set up or when an appointment needs to be rescheduled.  The student-selected Reason should not be changed and the appointment should always remain Shared.


  1. Access Starfish through: 
    1. myCourses by clicking the Starfish button or the hyperlink
    2. SIS by clicking the Starfish tile on the Teaching, Advising & Support page
  2. From the Starfish homepage, click the navigation Menu in the upper left corner of the screen and click Appointments
  3. Hover over the Appointmenticon associated with the appointment to be rescheduled. 
  4. Select Edit from the Appointment pop up card to bring up the Scheduling tab of the Edit Appointment form.
  5. Edit the When fields to reschedule the meeting. If necessary, edit the Where field.
  6. Click Submit. Updated calendar invitations will be sent to you and the student. 
  7. In the Outlook calendar invitation, accept the meeting invite by clicking Send the Response Now.
