New file types added to restricted upload list by vendor

For security, the vendor restricts the uploading of certain file types to myCourses.

The following items were added to the restricted list:

• .cgi 
• .cmd 
• .hta 
• .jar 
• .lib 
• .pl 
• .pm 
• .ps1 
• .sh 
• .vbscript

Existing files on myCourses will continue to be available. New uploads will report a restricted or invalid file type.

If you need to upload a file of a restricted file type you will have to compress the file into a ZIP archive for upload.
