3 Boards – Stacked
Thoughts:
- Enables for if main board is supplying 3V3 so sub-boards dont need it?
- Or just keep different, Isolated 3V3 for each board
- Can't really do this because XMC is gonna attach to all three stacked boards
- If the boards are individual, the 3V3 still needs to be there to power XMC
- Can't really do this because XMC is gonna attach to all three stacked boards
- Would be cool if they could work independently with their own XMCs, or stacked
- Top Board:
- Power Supplies
- 28V Incoming
- Switching to 9V?
- LDO to 5V
- LDO to 3V3
- This 3V3 will likely be digital supply for whole DAQ, gotta watch for power consumption / current
- Thermocouples
- These use 3V3 just like the XMC does
- Power Supplies
- Middle Board:
- Power Supplies
- Takes in 28V from Top Board or external header?
- LDO to roughly 26 for Current Loops
- Charge Pump to get ±2V5 for ADC
- LDO
- 12x Current Loops
- Needs Regulated 26V
- ADCs
- ±2V5
- 3V3
- Power Supplies
- Bottom Board
- Power Supplies
- Takes in 28V from Top Board or external header?
- 3V3 Charge Pump for Full-Bridge
- Deployment Channels
- Needs GPIO
- LiPo Battery for current draw of charges
- Might be cool to have LiPo charger too
- 4x Full-Bridges
- Needs ±3V3 for amplifiers
- Power Supplies
