There are two different options for adding a direct link to your course wiki inside of myCourses. First you'll need to determine which option suits your needs, and then follow the appropriate directions to add the navbar link into your myCourses shell.

You can also add a direct link your course wiki in myCourses by customizing your NavBar. To do this, login to your myCourses course shell > click on the Edit Course link under the tiger paw icon > click on NavBars > Click on the name of the NavBar that is currently in use (the active NavBar will have a green check mark next to it) > click on the area in the NavBar where you would like the link to appear > select Wiki from the Inactive links column on the left and when it is highlighted, click on the ">" symbol to add the link to your Active Links list > Click on the Save button to finalize changes. This link will bring you to the main login screen, once logged in, you will be brought to your course wiki homepage.

To do this, login to your myCourses course shell > click on the Edit Course link under the tiger paw icon > click on NavBars > Click on the name of the NavBar that is currently in use (the active NavBar will have a green check mark next to it) > click the New Link button > type a name for the link ("CourseAcronym Wiki" or something along those lines, DO NOT NAME THE LINK "Wiki" with no other supporting info - there is already a general Wiki link that is used in myCourses where a wiki has been created specific course section) > paste your wiki URL in the Link URL area > the wiki needs to open in a new window to function properly in all browsers, so select the radio button that labeled New Window > set the width (800) and height (600) for the new window > click Save. Next you'll need to add your new link to the NavBar > click on the area in the NavBar where you would like the link to appear > you should be able to find your wiki link in the Inactive links column on the left and when it is highlighted, click on the ">" symbol to add the link to your Active Links list > Click on the Save button to finalize changes.
