Name of Concept: RIT Student Innovators
Overview:
By 2025, every student graduating from RIT will have exposure to and experience with the innovation process. Innovation is not simply bringing new ideas to market. Innovation occurs everywhere, everyday. From proposing new ideas within the workplace to developing a ground breaking solution to world problems, there are some fundamental concepts for successful innovation to occur. This three course sequence will be counted as General Education courses and will be required of all students:
Innovation I - Freshman year
Research Methods - Junior year
Innovation II - Senior year
