On December 22nd 2014, RIT's Adobe Connect server will be updated to version 9.3.

Connect will be offline on December 22nd, and will return to service on December 23rd. 

 

Version 9.3 is a major upgrade that includes the following feature updates:

Screen Sharing Enhancements, including a floating screen sharing control bar. 

  • This allows the presenter to control/view a meeting without having to end the screen share or go back into the meeting room.

New White Board

  • Including a new tool palette for interacting with the white board.

Chat Sounds

  • Any user can choose to hear a sound when a new chat is received in the chat pod.
