RIT will permanently shut down the RIT Wiki (Confluence wiki) on February 2, 2024. Review the Wiki Shut Down Overview for information on alternative tools, exporting content from the wiki, and other FAQs.
If this template will be used for a graded activity, consider Using External Google Assignments in myCourses since this option creates a template file and automatically manages students access for you during the assignment timeline.
If your template is for other purposes, instead do the following:
- Store the file in a Google Drive folder where students do not have edit access or adjust permissions on the file so students cannot edit it.
- Change the settings on the file to prompt people who access that file to make their own copy (instructions for prompting copy).
- Share the link to the template file.
