All faculty, staff, and students have access to certain Google Apps through their RIT account. However faculty and staff must opt into this service. If you have not used the Google Apps with your RIT account before, you must opt into the service.:

Go to start.rit.edu.
Click Google Preferences.
If prompted, log with your RIT username and password.
Then follow the instructions on the screen to opt in.
