The Confluence wiki vendor will no longer be supporting the product RIT uses after February 2, 2024. The wiki product alternative offered by Confluence will be subject to a significant price increase. Based on this pricing change and the current volume of use of the wiki in support of course-related teaching, RIT purchased one last extension to the current wiki software license that will ensure the wiki will remain usable until February 2, 2024. |
What is the RIT Wiki?
The RIT wiki is a collection of collaborative websites built using Confluence. Wikis can contain text and multimedia, table of contents, tags, and page styling. Examples of course-related wikis include e-portfolios, group projects, and student-generated class resources (e.g. study guides, glossaries). Peer review can be facilitated through commenting features. For additional information, review the related Teaching Element on Wikis.
