  1. Login to Outlook.
  2. In the Calendar display, expand My calendars, then right-click on Calendar.

  3. Click Share and then Calendar Permissions from the menu that appears.

  4. The Calendar Properties window will open, select the Permissions tab and then click the Add button.

  5. The Add Users window will open. Type Starfish in the top Search box for the Global Address List. Click on the Starfish entry.
  6. Click the Add -> button at the bottom of the Add Users window, Starfish will now appear in the text box.
  7. Click the OK button.

  8. The Calendar Properties window will be visible again on the Permissions tab, select Starfish from the list.
  9. In the Permission Level dropdown, select Reviewer.
  10. Confirm the following details are marked:
    Read = Full Details
    Delete Items = None
    Other = Folder visible
  11. Click OK to apply the changes.

    1. In the To... field type the address starfishcalendar@rit.edu 
    2. In the Details dropdown select Full details

  14. Access Starfish through: 
    1. myCourses by clicking the Starfish button or the hyperlink
    2. SIS by clicking the Starfish button in your advisor center

  15. From the Starfish homepage, click the navigation Menu Menu  in the upper left corner of the screen

    1. Click the arrow next to your name to display a drop-down menu
    2. Select Appointment PreferencesImage Removed
    At the bottom of the Calendar Sync section,

  16. Scroll down to the Calendar Sync section, and check the box labeled Allow Starfish to read busy times from my Outlook calendar.

  17. Click Save Changes in the bottom right corner.
  18. Click the navigation Menu Image Modified and select in the upper left corner of the screen
  19. Click the Appointments tab;  tab at the top of the Starfish page and then click the Week tab
  20. Your Outlook appointments should now be visible in your Starfish calendarcalendars; if they are not showing, try refreshing the Starfish page
