Historique de la page
myCourses allows for file submissions in quizzes for the Written Response question type in a Quiz.
Limitations
Please be aware that file handling for file submissions in quizzes is very basic.
Due to these limitations we suggest evaluating your goals against these limitations and possibly using an Assignment folder instead, or the hybrid approach outlined in: Using a Quiz / Assignment hybrid for a file submission quiz.
- Only File Submission is enabled at RIT. We have not enabled Record Audio or Record Video.
- The Record Audio and Record Video buttons are displayed in error in the question preview when creating and editing a question. They will not be available to users when taking the quiz or using the Preview tool to take the quiz.
- Access to those options is a global setting and cannot be enabled per tool. We continue to evaluate options for audio and video feedback that will meet RIT's needs for security, proper management, and workflows for captioning and accessibility to meet the needs of all of our community.
- The maximum file size for all files attached or embedded in a single quiz question response is 102400 KB (100MB).
- No bulk download. Student submissions must be downloaded individually from each individual attempt.
- No document preview on myCourses, you do not have the preview as you do in the Assignments submission view.
- The files must be downloaded to be viewed locally on your computer. You must have the appropriate software to view the file.
- No online Annotations, due to there being no document preview.
- No Turnitin/Grademark integration.
- No ability to return documents back to the student in their attempt.
- No confirmation email is sent to the student for submissions.
