If a student does not submit their quiz attempt it will be left with a status of "In Progress," and this attempt will not show up in the list of attempts to grade.

Students sometimes do not complete the quiz submission steps. When a student clicks Submit Quiz they are taken to a confirmation screen where they must click Submit Quiz again to confirm.

An Instructor can submit an In Progress quiz attempt on the student's behalf. This is helpful if the student can no longer access the quiz is no longer due to restrictions.

Locating

To display any In progress attempts on a quiz:

You may now Submit the the attempt on behalf of the student so it is available to grade, or you may Delete the attempt to allow the student to take it again as long as the settings on the quiz have it available to the student.
