For timed quizzes, there is no hard stop for the end time.

• This means if a quiz has an End Date today at 12:00 PM and a Time Limit of 30 minutes. I could start my quiz at 11:59 AM and I would still receive the full 30 minutes to complete my attempt. I would not be hard stopped at the End Time of 12:00 PM.

Having all attempts done by a specific time

If you wish to have all attempts done by a certain time you must take that into account when configuring settings on your quiz.
