Accommodations can be defined for a student at the course level through the Classlist. These accommodations will adjust the settings in the appropriate activities across the entire course, instead of requiring Special Access to be defined for students on each individual activity.

These settings only apply to the individual course where they are set. These settings do not apply for the student in other courses and are not copied between courses.

At this time the accommodations are focused exclusively on Quizzes.

You can repeat the process to grant accommodations to other students.

Accommodations and Special Access

Special Access takes precedence over Accommodations. Granting a student Special Access on an individual activity will override any course level accommodations for that specific activity.

If a student already has an Accommodation defined, the system will display this when granting Special Access. An example in Quizzes:
