RIT will permanently shut down the RIT Wiki (Confluence wiki) on February 2, 2024. Review the Wiki Shut Down Overview for information on alternative tools, exporting content from the wiki, and other FAQs.
There are instances where duplicate data or software exists but for the sake of expediency and convenience it is duplicated on the RC cluster. Backup storage is expensive and if that data or software can just as easily be downloaded as restored please consider not backing it up.
