h3. Overview of idea:

On the dorm side, I remember swiping into the building would often be a hassle.  Sometimes forgetting my ID car or having to get it out of my wallet in frigged temperatures was a great inconvenience.  Also often having to swipe multiple times because the magnetic strip was worn out was frustrating at times.  I propose a finger print touch pad scanner that would recognize the student.  This system would avoid all the problems mentioned above.
