h3. Overview
Update School of Engineering programs to include Quality Management and Introduction to Project Management (not as elective) as core subjects into the curriculum of the different undergraduate and graduate programs.
h3. Identify how this idea leverages current areas of RIT expertise
Today and in 2025 it will be required an integrated professional, moreover an integrated engineer. Not only the engineer will be provided with the knowledge that will support the technical decisions but also the engineer is required to concurrently comply with regulatory requirements, solve problems and demonstrate the effectiveness of the solutions selected, all these activities embedded as part of a specif project plan aligned with the business strategies.

The expectations is the addition of at least one level of these two subjects provide the engineering student with a expanded set of tools (beyond the technical ones) that will allow him/her to better fit with the business need not only job needs.

The review and up-date of the engineering programs curriculum to include Quality Management and Project Management (at least an introductory level) will set RIT as leader in Education oriented to satisfy one of its key stakeholders, the industry and other business (including services).
