Go to start of metadata
  1. Access Starfish through: 
    1. myCourses by clicking the Starfish button or the hyperlink
    2. SIS by clicking the Starfish tile on the Teaching, Advising & Support page
  2. From the Starfish homepage, click the navigation Menu in the upper left corner of the screen and click Appointments
  3. Click the add Appointment button.
  4. The Add Appointment window will open to the Scheduling tab.
  5. Type the student's name into the Student dropdown box and select the desired student.
  6. Use the When fields to indicate the day of the meeting, start time, and end time.
  7. Select the location in the Where field.
  8.  In the Reason dropdown, select the reason the student has requested to meet with you.  This field should reflect what the student conveys, not necessarily what you have in mind to discuss with the student.
  9.  Click Submit. This will add the appointment to your Starfish calendar and send a meeting invitation to your Outlook calendar. 
  10. When you receive the Outlook calendar invitation, accept the meeting invite by clicking Send the Response Now.
