What is the difference between the verified certificate and the MicroMasters certificate?

A verified certificate shows proof of completion (passing) for just one course.  You can get one verified certificate for each course you enroll as verified in and successfully pass.

A MicroMasters certificate shows proof of completion (passing) for an entire program.  If you want to earn a MicroMasters certificate, then you must enroll as verified and pass all of the courses in the MicroMasters program. After earning a MicroMasters certificate, students are eligible to apply to RIT for select graduate level credential options with the ability to apply MicroMasters certificate credits toward your academic program. Utilizing your MicroMasters certificate in this way will significantly reduce the cost of the academic credential.
