I want to enroll in a different course session than the one I am currently in. The course start date I see on my dashboard is not correct.

You may be enrolled in a different session than you intended.

If your course has multiple sessions scheduled and offers the ability to change sessions, you can change sessions by following the edX's change session instructions.

Otherwise, to switch enrollment from one session to a different session, follow these steps:

  1. Unenroll from the currently enrolled course on your dashboard by following edX's unenroll instructions.

  2. If you paid for your verification in the currently enrolled course and are still in the refund window, it will refund you automatically to the method you paid. Refunds may take 3 to 7 business days to appear on your credit/debit card or PayPal account.

  3. Search for the course you want to enroll in on edx.org.  Click Enroll to enroll in the new course session.

  4. Upgrade/pay for verified in the new course session before the verification upgrade date if you want to receive a certificate.
