What if I have not received my RIT Computer Account email?

You should receive an email from RIT Account Management (servicedesk@rit.edu) with the subject line “Activate Your RIT Computer Account” within two business days of verifying your enrollment in the Capstone. 

Important: If you don’t find that email in your inbox, be sure to check  for it in your Spam/Junk email folder before contacting RIT.

NOTE: Existing rit.edu account holders will not receive new credentials. Please access the VLE using your existing rit.edu account. If you do not remember your password, you can reset it by visiting https://start.rit.edu

If you have not received your activation email within two business days after you have verified your enrollment, and you have checked your Spam/Junk mail folders, contact RITx Support to check on your status. Be sure to include your edX username and email address. To expedite the request, state that you have already checked your Junk folder.

RIT will send a new activation email. This will invalidate all previous activation keys, so only use the latest email you receive to activate your account.
