ARBIS FONIQI (1-WIKI - Description of inputs and interactions)

Technicalities

For this assignment that was meant to be in groups, I was part of Group 3 - Historical Politics of Kosovo. To start working, our group needed a Task List with specific tasks for everyone that was part of our group, so I created the task task list:

While some people wanted to use the "Two column section with left side-bar", some other people wanted to use the "Single column section". To solve the issue I made a comment asking the other members of the group to vote about the page layout, and then I changed it to the one that we together decided:

Also, I made some changes to the Wiki Navigation Panel. I added the anchor to the words so everyone using that wiki could navigate easier into the page.

I also did some minor changes in the overall wiki design like font color or text aligning.

I also created another child page for the wiki named Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), more explanation in the "Information Inputs" section.

Information Inputs

I had to write about Kosovo Conflict (1998-1999). I found some interesting articles but I was mainly focused in Britannica, Wikipedia and some NATO and UN journals. Also, while I was looking for the information I found information which was relevant and very understanding for the audience. To make the Wiki page even more interesting I added a KLA emblem image (Click here to see the KLA emblem image) to inform the viewers about that organization and to make the Wiki page more aesthetic. I also included a status macro which I used to write the name of the image that I attached into the page. The same thing I did with the other image as well which is a photo that shows all the NATO bombings in Yugoslavia which I think is a very attractive photo and very informative at the same time (Click here to see the NATO bombings in Yugoslavia image). Anchors are added by me in that article to help the audience navigate, as they will find it easier to find the 'Kosovo Conflict' article and also the photos that were anchored in some words in the text. I also added the info macro to explain the attached images

I also created a child page named Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). On that page I included information only about the KLA army. The page layout used here was "Two column section with left side-bar". On the left side-bar I attached the KLA emblem whereas on the right I typed information about the KLA which I found while searching on multiple sources which were cited in-text and at the end of the page. Here I also included some hyperlinks which direct the clickers to the credible pages where the information was retrieved from, also I added anchors that sent the viewers back to the main page from the child page.

Interactions

I posted comments frequently giving opinions on different aspects regarding page design but I was mostly preoccupied with the layout of the wiki so I frequently asked in the comments section about ideas and then I asked if we could vote to decide which layout we were going to use.

I also replied to some comments that were asking about the information, and I gave my opinion to them whether the information found was credible, useful and relevant or not.
