Once you have finished working on your exam or survey in Respondus, you need to publish it to myCourses so your students can take it.
You must take the one-time action to add myCourses as a server to Respondus before publishing, please visit Add myCourses as a Server - First-Time Use if you have not done this already.
How to Publish an Exam
- Select the Preview & Publish tab.
- In the sidebar, select the Publish tab.
- Click the Publish Wizard button.
- On the Publish Wizard dialog, choose the Type of Publish you wish to perform.
- From the Desire2Learn Server drop-down menu, choose the myCourses server you created following: Add myCourses as a Server - First-Time Use.
After selecting a Desire2Learn Server, click the Next button to connect.
Connecting may take a few minutes, depending on the number of courses you have and during busy times of the academic term such as midterms and finals.
- Select your course from the Choose Course to Publish to drop-down menu.
Chose the assessment you wish to create, or replace.If you have set up Random Sections, make sure the Apply Random Sections checkbox is selected.
- When finished, click the Next button.
- The Publish Wizard should now start to process your submission. Once finished, you will see a Completed successfully message. Click the Finish button.
