What is PGi?

PGi, also known as Premiere Global, is a company that provides phone conferencing services that integrate with Adobe Connect. Access to PGi phone conferencing accounts can be purchased by any RIT department. Telephone audio can be used in place of, or in addition to, the built in VoIP audio feature in Adobe Connect. PGi accounts can also be used for stand alone phone conferencing. Premier Global phone conferencing provides both U.S. and International toll free number options. Each phone conference session has a capacity of 125 participants

International Numbers

Some countries, such as Dubai, do not have a direct toll free number. It is recommended that users inquire with PGi directly for a complete list of supported international locations.

How do I request an account?

Any RIT department, staff, or faculty member can request a PGi phone conferencing account. To inquire about a new account, contact Lyn Caswell, the RIT account representative at PGi. You will need to have an invoice number or a department credit card that PGi can bill to.

How Does My PGi Account Work?

Once your account has been created, an email confirmation will be sent to you. It will include your Client ID, password, and your "reservation-less" conference number with moderator and participant pass codes. This “reservation-less” conference number is primarily for use with Adobe Connect. Instructions for using PGi with Adobe Connect can be found in the Using PGi with Connect documentation section. For “stand-alone” phone conferences where you wish to record the audio session, account holders can schedule a time-specific conference at the MyReadyConference website at http://myrcplus.com.

How much does phone conferencing cost?

There is typically a one time moderator setup fee of $1.95 to create a new account. After an account has been created, PGi phone conferencing is charged on a per minute, per user basis. There is no base monthly charge. You are only charged when you use the service.

U.S. - $0.10/min
International - $0.30/min to $0.75/min
