One of the environmental issues that is decribed in this article are the the old power plants sources which are causing different diseases such as cancer, lung disease etc.People who are living closer to the power plants, more specifically in Dardhishte village, are having the most difficult time dealing with all the dust which impacts their health. In this report it is mentioned that about 40 percent of the population from the village of Dardhishte after 1999 have moved to other villages or towns, in the hope that they might escape from the pollution and adapt to a cleaner environment. Another interesting report is that the air pollution is responsible for over 63 percent of fatalities and 48 percent of still born babies. Day by day, the wind is bringing all the dust and yellow smoke that comes from the power plant closer to the big cities making the air dirty and risky for citizen’s life. Raif Bytyqi, environmental coordinator at INKOS, admits being helpless for this country, as a lack of equipments. The tool that measures toxicity in the air was stolen or destroyed by Serbs authorities. Our future will be on risk and there’s nothing to do about it yet. Additionally, in this article are also mentioned some irregularities within the power plant Kosova A. During the plant's  second and third shift (4pm-8am) workers often remove those filters completely.
