Voice Levels
When recording with your voice, you should see a blue bar move across the screen. The blue bar should fill about 50% of the bar when you are speaking for optimal voice quality. This will make sure your volume is not too low or too high for the participants in your meeting room.
- Test the silence level in your room. Do not make any noise during this period. If in a large room, also make sure others do not speak during this period. Connect is assessing the background noise of the room in order to optimize audio settings.
- Under the “Advanced Settings” (Windows Only), although not required, you may also want to check the following:
- Acoustic Echo Cancellation Mode should be set to Full Duplex.
- Check the Auto sense Acoustic Echo Cancellation mode checkbox.
- Select Finish to save all your settings in the Audio Setup Wizard.
