Arranging and Resizing Pods

Hiding and Maximizing Pods

Each pod has an options menu  located at the top-right corner that offers functions specific to that pod. You can hide or maximize a pod using the Hide and Maximize functions (see image below). Both Hide and Maximize functions will effect the view of all the attendees in a session.

Hiding a pod will hide that pod from all participants' view. Maximizing a pod will increase the pod size to match the height and width of the Connect Meeting room. Once a pod has been maximized, it can be restored to its original size by entering the same menu and clicking the Restore option.

Once you have hidden a pod, you will no longer be able to see it on the interface until you restore it. To restore a hidden pod:

  1. Click the Pods tab on the menu bar. A list of pods will appear.
  2. Click the pod that you want to be restored. The pod will be restored on the interface.

Note: An arrow to the right of each pod name indicates that there is either more than one pod available to reset or you can add additional pods that perform the same function. A check mark to the left of each pod name indicates that the pod is currently viewable in the Adobe Connect meeting room.

Resizing Pods

As a Host, you have the ability to move and resize any of the pods for your live Connect Meeting sessions. This gives you the option to customize the layout and look of your Connect Meeting room. In order to perform this function, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Pods tab on the menu bar.
  2. From the drop-down menu, check on the Move and Resize Pods (Figure 3 above).
    1. If you see a checkmark already on Move and Resize Pods option, this would mean that the pods are already set up for resizing and moving.
  3. To resize a pod, place the cursor over the lower right-hand corner of that pod. Your cursor will turn into a two-sided arrow (see the image below). With your cursor pressed down, drag your cursor in any direction to change the size.
  4. To move a pod, place the cursor on its bar and with your cursor pressed down, drag the pod to any location on the interface.
