Please view edX's refund policy. Different types of courses have different refund windows when learners can be eligible for a refund when they unenroll from a course
If you are still in the refund window, the refund will happen automatically after you unenroll. Refunds will be credited to the credit card or PayPal account used when you registered and may take up to two billing cycles to process.
After the designated refund window window, refunds can be given on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the course team and edX. Refunds must be requested by emailing billing@edx.org. Please include your full name, the course name, and the reason a refund is needed in your email request. Refunds are not guaranteed after the refund window.
