When and how will I receive my certificate?

INDIVIDUAL COURSE CERTIFICATES

• For instructor-paced courses: Certificates are issued to verified learners who pass the course approximately two business days after the course end date.  
• For self-paced courses: Certificates are issued to verified learners soon after they pass the course. They do not need to wait until the advertised course end date. 

The link to download the certificate will appear on your edX Dashboard. For more information, view the edX documentation for Receiving your Certificate and the edX documentation on Sharing and Printing Certificates. 

If you did not pass the course, or you completed the course as an audit learner (free), you can print your Progress Page to show enrollment in the course.

PROGRAM COMPLETION CERTIFICATES
(MicroMasters, Professional Certificate, XSeries)

Program certificates will be available on the same day as individual course certificates, after completion of all courses in the program. The link to download the program certificate will appear on your edX Program Dashboard (from your Dashboard, click the "Program" tab).

Can you email me or mail me my certificate?

We cannot email you or postal mail you a certificate. You must download it from your edX Dashboard.
