How can I get university credit / academic credit?

University credit (academic credit) is not awarded for individual course completion. University credit is only awarded after completing the entire MicroMasters program and being accepted by the university.

After earning the RITX Project Management MicroMasters certificate, students are eligible to apply to RIT’s School of Individualized Study for select graduate programs. If accepted into the program, students with the MicroMasters will be awarded 9 credit hours towards their degree requirements. This allows learners to accelerate their degree completion and pursue an academic credential at a reduced overall cost. Students can select from the Advanced (Graduate) Certificate in Project Management, or an interdisciplinary, customized Master of Science degree (Professional Studies). For your convenience, you can earn either degree by studying fully online or on campus.
