Anyone within codeRIT who needs to communicate with another organization on behalf of codeRIT should have a codeRIT/BrickHack ZOHO account. ZOHO enables members to send/receive emails. Having these email accounts allows our team to professionally represent codeRIT and BrickHack with companies and RIT. Setup is easy and requires having administrator access to ZOHO.

Creating an account

Follow these steps to add a member of codeRIT as a user on ZOHO

  1. Log in to mail.zoho.com and navigate to "Control Panel"
  2. Navigate to "User Details" and click "Add User"
  3. Complete the form with the user information
  4. Create a one-time password for the user to use to complete setup

 

You MUST select "Force user to change password during the first login." as a security measure.

Force enable TFA (Two-Factor Authentication) for new user

All users must have TFA enabled as a security measure. As an administrator, you can force the user to setup TFA upon login.

  1. Log in to mail.zoho.com and navigate to "Control Panel"
  2. Navigate to "User Details" and click "Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Toggle "TFA status for the user" to ON
