There are two different options for adding a direct link to your course wiki inside of myCourses. First you'll need to determine which option suits your needs, and then follow the appropriate directions to add the navbar link into your myCourses shell.

Standard myCourses Navbar Link

(for individual courses running during a specific quarter)

Review Customize the Navigation Bar for instructions on customizing the myCourses nav bar. In the step where you add and remove links, choose the standard Wiki item from the list.

Custom Wiki Navbar Link

(for courses with multiple sections, or those running across several different quarters)

Review Customize the Navigation Bar for instructions on customizing the myCourses nav bar. Instead of adding items from the standard list, you will create a new link by clicking Create Custom Link.

  1. Type a name for the link (e.g "CourseAcronym Wiki"). Do not name the link "Wiki" with no other supporting info because there is already a standard Wiki item in the list.
  2. Paste your wiki URL in the Link URL field.
  3. Make sure the open behavior is set to New Window/Tab
  4. Click Create and continue through the steps to save the nav bar.

Note that students may need to log into Confluence after clicking these links in order to view the course wiki.
