There needs to be for credit opportunity for juniors/seniors in each discipline to work on multidisciplinary projects with juniors/seniors from other disciplines.

Combines the knowledge and skills of individuals in different programs to foster practical, creative and unique innovations.

h3. Main    RIT on-campus champion(s) for this idea:

The Deans of each college will need recognize and approve for credit opportunities for collaboration or at least set a credit completion criteria for such a course offering.

h3. Additional    on-campus champions willing to collaborate with this individual and    take a lead role in driving the idea:

Dr. Destler, Professors from each discipline

h3. How  you envision this idea advancing RITís national or global stature in an  important or emerging field:

If successful, this unique approach will lead to innovations in knowledge areas were growth has slowed and new direction in emerging fields. This growth will generate national and global excitement.

With RIT's varying programs of study; great minds in each discipline; its drive for innovation and excellence; its large student population; RIT has the opportunity to use these resources to catalyze creativity and inspire innovation.
