computer-based simulation that accurately reproduces the performance of the prototype array was developed in order to evaluate alternate system configurations without changing the hardware of the actual array. This model was created using the program Autodesk Maya. Measurements were taken of both the array and the lab it is located in and then used to create the model accurately. The most recently updated version of the model is here:

FullRoom6.mb

This model includes the prototype array, a calibration target, and the test targets for the static validation.

MentalRayRoom.mb

This models is the same as "FullRoom6" but uses a different renderer. The renderer (Mental Ray) allows for nicer looking renders and ceiling lights to be seen as objects instead of just light sources. Though the ceiling lights make this model look more accurate, the FullRoom model was still used in renders for the array's program because Mental Ray takes significantly longer to render than Maya Software.
